Common questions
How many flashcards will I get from one video?
The number scales with video length and density. A typical 60-minute lecture produces 80–120 cards. A 15-minute tutorial produces 15–30 cards. The AI creates cards for every distinct testable concept — not an arbitrary fixed number.
Are the cards accurate?
Cards are grounded entirely in the video transcript — the AI cannot add facts that were not said in the video. For highly technical content, review the deck against your own notes to catch any edge cases.
Can I export to Anki?
Yes. You can download the deck as a CSV from your workspace and import it into Anki. Each row maps to one card: front (term) on the left, back (definition) on the right.
Is there a video length limit?
For videos with captions (most YouTube videos), there is no length limit on any plan. For videos without captions, Pro users get up to 4 hours of audio transcription.
What languages are supported?
Notelify supports 40+ languages. It auto-detects the video language and generates cards in the same language, or you can receive cards translated to English.
