FAQ

Common questions

What file formats are supported?

Notelify supports .ppt and .pptx files (Microsoft PowerPoint). Google Slides presentations can be downloaded as .pptx and uploaded.

Does it read the speaker notes?

Yes — if speaker notes are present in the file, they are included in the processing and contribute to the generated summary and notes.

What if the slides have lots of images and diagrams?

Text content is always extracted. For slides that are primarily visual (charts, diagrams), the AI processes any text labels and headings. Purely image-only slides may produce less detail.

How many slides can it handle?

There's no hard limit. Presentations with 10 slides process in about 10 seconds. Very large decks (200+ slides) may take up to a minute.

Can I use this on downloaded Coursera or Udemy slides?

Yes — any .pptx file you can download or export works. Many MOOC platforms allow slide downloads, and those work perfectly with Notelify.
