Credits are the universal currency on Notelify. Every AI-powered action—from generating flashcards to summarizing a long lecture—costs a set number of credits. Your plan determines how many credits you receive each month.
Credits cover both the feature you're using and the underlying AI compute required to process your content. Different features consume different amounts based on their complexity and processing requirements.

3. How is Credit Usage Calculated?
The computational resources required for each feature vary, so credit costs differ accordingly. Some features are always free. Below is a detailed breakdown.

4. How to Purchase Credits?
Credits are included with your subscription plan. Upgrade to receive more credits each month. Annual subscriptions save up to 30% compared to monthly billing — Pro annual is $59/year and Premium annual is $129/year.
5. Refunds & Failed Generations
If an AI generation fails for any reason, the credits charged for that action are automatically refunded to your account. No action needed on your part.
Credits do not roll over. Unused credits expire when your 30-day cycle resets. For subscription refund policies, please refer to our Terms of Service.
